How to Replace the Battery in a Volkswagen Passat B8 Key?

Changing the battery in the key of our Volkswagen Passat is very simple. As shown in this video, it only takes a few steps, which are as follows. First, use a small flat screwdriver to pry open the plastic part where the actual key is located. Then, gently pull it out while using it to carefully lever off the plastic cover that contains the battery. Once this is done, you can proceed to replace the battery with a new one. After replacing the battery, close the key by following the same steps in reverse.
