How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Golf, press and hold the 0.0 button located at the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding this button, insert the ignition key into the ignition barrel and turn it to switch on the ignition. Once the ignition is on, a message will appear asking if you want to confirm the reset of the light: confirm the reset by pressing the OK button on the right spoke, which will completely turn off the light and switch off the instrument cluster.
