In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the headlining in the Volkswagen Golf, a very simple and quick operation. First, go inside the cabin, then lower both sun visors and remove them by unscrewing the respective fastening screws.

Next, unclip the front interior light frame, remove the inner frame, and continue by removing all the side grab handles. At this point, you can grasp the headlining, pull it down, and separate it from the roof.

To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
