Replacing the Air Filter of the Volkswagen T-Cross

As per the maintenance schedule of the Volkswagen T-Cross, you must periodically replace the air filter for optimal engine performance. Open the bonnet of the engine compartment, and you will find the filter box in front of you: Start by removing the small breather hose, then loosen the clamp on the inlet hose with pliers and disconnect it. Repeat the same procedure for the outlet hose, which can be tricky due to limited space. Using a T30 Torx key, unscrew the screw on the front edge of the filter box, lift and rotate the box. Using a T25 Torx key, unscrew the screws securing the filter cover, open it, and replace the old filter element with a new one, ensuring the rubber edge fits well. Replace the cover and tighten the screws, then reinsert the box in its place, reconnect the outlet hose, the inlet hose, the breather hose, and secure everything with the screw on the edge.
