How to Replace the Rear Light on the Volkswagen Passat

Open and lift the boot lid to access the back of the light. The steps are identical for both rear lights. You just need to remove the small panel on the vertical part of the boot to reach the light connectors. Move the red lever to disconnect the plug. Now, unscrew the white screw to release the light and pull it out from the front. This way, you can work directly on the light to replace the necessary bulbs. Reverse the steps to reassemble.
