How to disassemble the storage compartment in the Volkswagen Touran?

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015
Part: Glove compartment

In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the glove compartment in the Volkswagen Touran, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we open the compartment, then we locate the screws on the upper inner edge of the compartment and unscrew them using a Torx T20 screwdriver. We then close the drawer, unscrew the additional screws on the lower edge and unhook both the right side partition and the thin upper trim. At this point, all that's left to do is to grab the interior compartment, detach it from the side pins and separate it from the dashboard. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
