In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the auxiliary belt on a Volkswagen Caddy van. This is a simple task but requires good manual skills. First, lift the front right side, taking the necessary safety precautions.

Then, remove both the wheel and the inner wheel arch cover. Next, cut the old belt, attach it to the alternator, and using both the special tool provided with the replacement and a socket spanner, secure it to the pulley by turning it clockwise.

At this point, simply reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
