To remove the front headlamp of a Volkswagen Beetle, start by opening the bonnet to access the back of the headlamp. Locate the spring clip or fixing screw near the headlamp.

Use a screwdriver or appropriate spanner to loosen and remove the fixing screw. Once removed, gently pull the headlamp outwards.

You may need to move it slightly to fully disengage it from the mount. Be careful of the electrical connectors attached to the headlamp.

Carefully disconnect these connectors by pressing the clips and pulling them gently. The headlamp should now be free to be completely removed from the vehicle.

During the procedure, ensure you do not damage the electrical cables or the bodywork. If you encounter resistance, check that all screws and clips have been removed correctly.

Once the headlamp is removed, you can perform the necessary maintenance or replace it with a new headlamp.
