Each fuse on the Volkswagen Passat is located inside one of the dedicated fuse boxes present in the car: this model has three. The first two are located inside the cabin, on the side parts of the dashboard, accessible only by opening the driver and passenger doors and removing the plastic panels.

These boxes contain fuses for the airbags, electronic handbrake, courtesy lights, etc. The third fuse box is located in the engine compartment, next to the battery: here you will find fuses for the radio, front headlights, etc.
