To replace the air conditioning compressor on the Volkswagen Golf, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: the compressor is located at the front left of the engine block, along with its pulley. To remove it, loosen its mounting bolts and disconnect its power cables.

Once freed, the old compressor can be removed from its position, and you can install the new part, ensuring it functions correctly.
