How to Remove the Rear Bumper of a Sharan

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010

Do you want to remove the rear bumper of your Volkswagen? Follow this guide to proceed. First, open the tailgate of the boot, then access the inspection compartments located at the sides of the boot. Remove the retaining bolts of the rear lights using a socket spanner, pull the light out of its housing, and disconnect the power connector. Repeat this procedure for the other rear light. Now, remove the pins located at the side of the bumper with your socket spanner, then unscrew the lower screws under the car and around the wheel arch as shown in the video. Detach the bumper with your hands and disconnect the number plate light connectors. Once the bumper is removed, you can fit the new one by reversing the steps.
