To manually reset the service light on your Volkswagen Golf Mk8, you must follow the following procedure. The first thing you need to do is obviously to enter the interior of the vehicle and start the instrument panel without starting the engine. Then press the menu button located on the right side of the steering wheel and scroll through the various options available until you find the "Driving time/Distance" option. At this point, press the right arrow button and select the "Reset oil service" option. Finally, confirm the reset of the light in question and you are done.
