To reset the AdBlue light on a Volkswagen Passat, you need to clear the stored error in the control unit that causes the light to illuminate. To do this, connect a diagnostic tool with VCDS software to the vehicle's OBD port.

This port is located under the steering column, and once the scanner is connected, select the car model and its corresponding version. Following the tutorial instructions, you will be able to clear the light and then turn off the ignition completely.
