How to deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Arteon?

To deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Arteon, turn on the ignition by inserting the key into the ignition switch. Once it is on, press the button located at the end of the lever on the left of the steering wheel.

This will bring up a screen where you can find the "Lane assist" option: next to it, there will be a box with a tick, which can be removed by pressing the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel. This will allow the instrument cluster to be turned off.
