How to adjust the handbrake in the Volkswagen Touran?

In this tutorial we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the Volkswagen Touran, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then go to the rear seat, open the ashtray and remove it. Next, unscrew the two screws inside the small storage compartment using a Torx T20 key, remove the entire tunnel cover and locate the adjustment nut, which should be screwed in until the desired tension level is reached. Finally, test the new adjustment on a suitable road, of course in full safety.
