In this guide for all Volvo XC60 second generation owners, discover the steps to replace the small battery inside the key yourself. First, purchase a CR2032 battery.

Then, remove the back cover of the remote and take out the emergency key. Once done, take a flathead screwdriver and use it to unscrew the protective cap. Finally, locate the dead battery and replace it with the new one, then correctly reassemble the various components you removed earlier, and you're finished.
