How to remove the gear knob on a Volvo C30

How do you change the gear knob on a Volvo C30? We see it in this video, bearing in mind that the same procedure is also suitable for the S40, V50, and C70 models. First, put the gear in neutral, then lever from the passenger side on the gear lever boot; then press the gear lever, rotating it counterclockwise at the same time. By doing so, we can remove both the boot and the knob with a single gesture. We will use the reverse method to put it back in place, so we will press firmly and rotate clockwise at the same time. At this point, it will be enough to put the edges of the boot back in place and the job will be done.
