Today's information will show us the steps on how to disassemble and replace the gear shift knob of the Volvo C30. First, we get on board the vehicle and start rotating and pulling the gear shift knob upwards with force, in order to detach it and remove it from the lever; if necessary, we also remove the shift boot. At this point, we proceed to install the new original gear shift knob or compatible with our vehicle; we insert it perfectly onto the lever and make sure it does not move on the lever, also securing it onto the shift boot of the gear lever.
