How to reset the maintenance light on the Volvo XC90

If the maintenance (or service) light appears on the instrument panel of your second-generation Volvo XC90 even after a regular service, you must proceed with a manual reset. First of all, get into the car and start the instrument panel by turning the key to the second position. Then, press and hold the "OK" button for a few seconds and release it as soon as the settings menu appears on the display. At this point, select the option for resetting the service light and press and hold the "OK" button again for about five seconds. Finally, turn off and restart the instrument panel.
