If the maintenance light on the dashboard of your second-generation Volvo XC90 (2015-2023) comes on and you want to know how to perform the manual reset, follow these steps. First, enter the vehicle and ensure the ignition is off. Next, press and hold the button with the down arrow (located on the left side of the steering wheel) and turn on the ignition. As soon as the maintenance light flashes three times in a row, release the button, and the reset procedure is successfully completed.
