Battery Replacement Instructions

The battery is located in the rear trunk, just under the carpeted shelf; lift the carpeted shelf, disconnect the end-of-travel cables, and remove the underlying cover that also serves as a storage compartment: at this point, you can already see the battery. Next, unscrew the bolts of the upper mounting bracket and remove it along with the plastic cover. Disconnect the battery vent tube (ensuring it is not blocked), then unscrew the terminal clamps and the lower mounting bracket. Finally, pull out the old battery and insert the new one, reversing the steps for reassembly (apply grease to the terminals to prevent oxidation).

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
