Today we will see the instructions that will allow us to dismantle and replace the timing belt of the Volvo XC90 (D5 Diesel engine); the manufacturer declares that the timing belt replacement should be done every ten years or 180,000 kilometers. So we open the hood of the car and start dismantling and removing the tray we find on the left side of the engine compartment; then we remove the distribution cover and disconnect the V-belt, as shown in the video. At this point, we take the necessary references for the replacement of the timing belt, replacing the water pump if necessary, following the instructions in the video until the end!
