Today, see how to perform routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filters on the Volvo FH 12. To drain the engine oil, it is necessary to unscrew the various drain bolts located on the oil sumps, allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridges using the appropriate tool, replacing them with new original ones.

At this point, top up with new engine oil, having the specifications indicated in the user and maintenance manual, pouring the correct amount and topping up if necessary.
