Instructions for Removing the Instrument Cluster

Model: Volvo V70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007
Part: Instrument cluster

To facilitate the removal process, lower the steering wheel to its lowest height and pull it towards the driver. Then, unclip the plastic trim around the instrument cluster by simply pulling it (the trim comes off along with the upper cover for the indicator stalk); then unscrew the four screws securing the instrument cluster, pull it forward, and disconnect the central connector attached to it. This operation must be performed if you need to replace the entire instrument cluster or the backlighting bulbs.
