Instructions for Removing the Handle

Model: Volvo Xc90 MK 1 - Years 2002-2014

First, you need to remove the door panel: the first step is to take off the inner handle of the panel (a screwdriver is sufficient to pry it off); beneath the handle, there is a screw that must be removed. At this point, disconnect the pressure clips along the edge of the panel, the connectors, and the cable connected to the internal opening lever. Once the panel is removed, you can unscrew the fastening screws of the inner handle: to remove it, you need to detach the trim around the handle itself. You can then proceed with the handle replacement and reassemble the panel by reconnecting the connectors and the cable. Secure the pressure clips, the screw under the handle, and the handle itself.
