Installing a Child Seat

Model: Volvo V70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

This kit is specifically designed for the type of vehicle and consists of three parts: the child seat, the support, and a mounting plate. Start by securing the plate, which should be positioned under the rear seat. Once the seat is lifted, two pre-drilled holes are visible for securing the plate, which should be fastened with the supplied bolts. Once the plate is secured, lower the seat and install the support by inserting the two arms, equipped with hooks, between the seat and the backrest until they latch onto the previously secured plate. The support has an extendable foot that should rest on the floor. If the foot is properly secured, a green indicator on the foot itself shows a perfect connection; if the indicator is red, the support is not properly secured. Once the support is fixed, securely lock the child seat in place.
