Installation of Detachable Towbar

Model: Volvo V70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

Open the rear bonnet, lift the cover panel, remove the spare wheel, and take off the trims to access the fastening pins of the rear bumper for removal. Then, detach the brackets located immediately beside the fuel tank (the one with the cylindrical rib on the right and the exhaust support on the left).
Position the towbar under the vehicle's chassis and secure it using the new pins included in the installation kit, also applying the serrated washers. Remove the section of the bumper corresponding to the towbar application area. Attach the exhaust rubber to the new bracket. Refit the rear bumper by securing it laterally. Finally, secure the central housing tube of the towbar and the socket, making the necessary electrical connections.
