How to Install New Brass Bushes

Model: Volvo S70 MK 1 - Years 1996-2000

In this tutorial, you will install brass bushes on a Volvo S70. First, after opening the bonnet, remove the air box: take off the cover, disconnect the connection, remove the seal from its pipe, and take out the cradle. Now, as shown in the video, remove the clips, cables, and washers using a screwdriver. At this point, using an adjustable spanner, remove the old bushes. Clear any sand that has settled at the end of the cable. Install the brass bushes using E-clips (you can also apply white lithium grease if desired). Now refit the clips and washers you removed earlier. Finally, reassemble the air box.
