Installation of Turbochargers

Installing turbochargers is not a simple task, and it requires first carrying out necessary operations such as: replacing the oil lines, as often cleaning alone is not sufficient, removing and cleaning the oil sump of any carbon deposits, checking the correct functioning of the oil pump, cleaning the engine lubrication lines, and replacing the oil and filter regardless of mileage. Before installing the new turbo, ensure that oil is correctly reaching the turbo. The turbocharger should be mounted after being pre-filled with oil. Then, start the engine and let it run for 5-10 minutes at idle, checking for any leaks.
