How to Replace the Front Headlight Bulb or Glass

This tutorial shows how to replace the front headlight bulb of a Volvo S70. First, after opening the bonnet, unscrew the internal bolt that secures the side indicator. This will allow you to remove the indicator itself after disconnecting it. Now you can also disconnect the front headlight connection. Using a socket wrench with a small extension, unscrew the three bolts that secure the front headlight and extract it. At the back of the unit, remove the two covers protecting each bulb, open the metal clip, and extract the bulb to be replaced. Once completed, reassemble everything as it was before. If you wish to replace the entire headlight, retrieve the metal clip from the old headlight. Unscrew it with a 25 mm Torx screwdriver and screw it onto the new headlight. Now reposition the headlight as it was before, reassemble the three bolts, and reconnect the electrical connection. Finally, refit the previously removed indicator.
