Replacement of Rear Shock Absorbers

Model: Volvo S80 - Years 1998-2006

Lift the car on the ramp and remove the front wheels to access the mechanics. Unscrew and remove the retaining pins of the arm from the suspension. Using a spanner and a ratchet, remove all the suspension bolts. Access the boot and remove the cover by taking out the plastic pins. Unscrew the suspension retaining bolt and pull it down completely. Replace the worn shock absorber with a new one and proceed with the assembly, starting by securing the top in the boot, then fastening it to the base using, if possible, new bolts. Reassemble the rest of the mechanics and take it for a road test.
