Disassembly of Front Door Panel

Model: Volvo S70 MK 1 - Years 1996-2000
Part: Door trim panel

The tools required for this operation are: a flathead screwdriver, a T25 Torx key, and a trim tool. Remove the cover of the handle and unscrew the two securing screws. Remove the plastic clips from the panel and, using the trim tool, gently pry the panel along the edges, pulling it upwards with care. Disconnect the handle cables and electrical contacts by unplugging the connectors, taking care not to pull them. Refit the new panel starting with the electrical connections. Position the panel upwards and then push it down until it clicks into place. Reattach the cables, connectors, and screws.
