Replacing the Battery in a Volvo Key Fob

First, extract the spare manual key from the casing, then use any flat-edged object (a small flat screwdriver is recommended) to lever in the slot on the casing and open it. Voila! Now you have the battery in front of you, which is a CR2430 and can be easily found in all hardware stores or large supermarkets. To remove it, use the small flat screwdriver again, then insert the new one you purchased. Reassemble the remote by fitting the two parts together, and finally, insert the manual key.
