How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on the Volvo V90

To replace the battery in the remote key fob, follow these steps: Take the remote and slide the back cover off by pressing with your finger. Underneath, you will find the emergency key; remove it and use it to release the locking tab of the other cover. Get a small screwdriver to turn the small circular cover located above the battery compartment. Then, remove the battery and take the new one. Always pay attention to the orientation of the battery; the positive terminal should always be on top. Finally, reassemble the key fob covers.
