When performing maintenance that requires cylinder head disassembly, a new set of pins should always be used for subsequent installation. Start by reworking the threads of the fixing holes on the base with the relative male (check the diameter and pitch of the thread), taking care not to allow any residual chips to end up in the cylinders; then apply the mastic on the bottom of the thread and under the head of the new pins and proceed with tightening according to a crisscross pattern (you can find information on this in specific workshop manuals) and using both the dynamometric and graduated wrenches.

First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
