How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo V50?

Model: Volvo V50 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on a Volvo V50, press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument panel: keep the button pressed while the ignition is off. Next, insert the key and turn on the ignition while continuing to hold the button: a flashing "i" will appear in the centre of the display. After the icon has flashed three times, release the button and turn off the instrument panel; when it is turned on again, check that the Service light has been successfully reset.
