How to Replace the Door Panel on a Volvo S40?

To replace the door panel on a Volvo S40, first loosen the five screws that secure the panel: these are located in the handle recess, beneath the rear-view mirror, near the window switch, inside the glove compartment, and on the left side of the panel. Next, detach the speaker cover by unscrewing the screws that secure it: at this point, you can pry the lower part of the panel away, completely removing it and replacing it with a new one.
