How to Replace the Headlamp Bulb on a Volvo XC 70

In this video tutorial, see how to replace the headlamp bulb on a Volvo XC 70. First, enter the vehicle, engage the handbrake, switch off the ignition, and pull the lever to lift the bonnet; once the bonnet is raised, secure it with the prop rod. Remove the headlamp retaining clips and, using both hands, pull the headlamp from its housing, then disconnect the electrical connector. Next, move the headlamp to a flat surface for easier handling. At this point, rotate the headlamp so the rear is facing you and release the cover latch, then use a screwdriver to lift the cover. You now have access to the bulb that needs replacing, so remove it from its socket and disconnect the electrical connector. Insert the new bulb and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
