Operation: How to replace the position light on the Volvo XC70

The guide shows how to replace the sidelights bulb on the Volvo XC70. The first step is to open the bonnet and remove the two metal catches of the light on the side to be replaced. At this point, it is possible to carefully remove the light and disconnect the electrical connector. It is now possible to operate on the rear of the light; in fact, after having removed the metal pin and the two plastic tabs, it is possible to remove the cover of the lamp compartment. The position light bulb is located in the middle of the headlight housings; with a small slotted screwdriver it is possible to pry the retaining tab of the bulb and pull it from the wires. The extraction of the old bulb is done by pulling the bulb from the lamp holder. Once the new bulb has been fitted, it is possible to close the rear cover of the light and reinstall the assembly in position, after connecting the power cable. Reinsert the fixing blocks of the light and check for correct operation.
