Instructions for Disassembling Gear Knob

Model: Volvo S70 MK 1 - Years 1996-2000

Disassembling the gear lever knob is extremely simple as it does not require any tools. The gear knob is merely clipped onto the lever via plastic tabs. To remove it, start the engine, shift the gear lever all the way back for more manoeuvring space, and then turn off the engine. At this point, grasp the knob and pull it upwards to release it, then proceed in reverse to reattach it, aligning it with the lever and pressing it down until it clips in perfectly.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
