Replacing Front Headlight Bulbs

Model: Volvo Xc90 MK 1 - Years 2002-2014

To replace the bulbs, you need to completely remove the front headlight assembly. Open the hood and remove the two metal clips securing the headlight. Carefully pull the headlight assembly out from its housing. Remove the protective cap and then the electrical connector by unscrewing the side screws. Remove the bulb retaining spring by gently pulling it to detach it from the socket. Install the new bulb without touching the glass with your hands. Reinstall the bulb socket in its respective housing and reposition the headlight assembly, securing it with the two clips after closing the plastic cap.
