Replacing the Front Headlight Bulbs

This video shows how to change one of the bulbs in the front headlight of a Volvo XC90 or, if necessary, how to replace the entire headlight. First, open the hood. Remove the metal clips and take out the entire headlight assembly. Remove and check the two small side bulbs. Next, move on to the central headlight bulbs: first, remove the small cover that protects the bulb, then pull it out. One of the two central bulbs is protected by a cover secured with a screw that needs to be removed with a small Phillips screwdriver (this is the only step that requires a tool other than your hands). If you want to replace the entire headlight, you must first disconnect its electrical connector. Release it by pressing on the colored part of the connector with your fingers. Take the new headlight and first connect its connector. Place the new headlight in its position and reattach the metal clips.
