To replace the battery in the Volvo XC90 remote, lower the side lever to remove the cover on the back of the device. Next, pry off the front cover and the circular cover underneath.

The battery beneath this cover can then be removed and replaced with a new one. After removing the old battery, close the remote by inserting the appropriate covers, and finally, check that the device works correctly.
