How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo XC40

To reset the Service light on a Volvo XC40, press and hold the button located on the left side of the steering wheel while the instrument cluster is off. Continue holding the button and turn on the instrument cluster, waiting a few seconds for a message indicating that the reset is in progress to appear.

When the message shows that the maintenance interval has been reset, you can release the button on the steering wheel.

This completes the reset procedure, and you can turn off the instrument cluster.
