Before you begin, open the front passenger door of your Alfa Romeo 156. Start by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the lower cover of the glove compartment, unscrewing the corresponding fixing bolts. Then, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the lower cover of the cabin air filter, and then remove the cover itself. By doing this, you will access the two sections of the cabin air filter, which you need to extract and remove, completing the disassembly. To install the new filter and reassemble everything, follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
