How to Remove the Instrument Cluster from an Alfa Romeo 147

To remove the instrument cluster from an Alfa Romeo 147, turn the steering wheel to the left to access the bolts securing the central airbag. The bolts are located at the back of the steering wheel, and once removed, you can pull out the airbag by disconnecting its connector. After the airbag is removed, loosen the nut that secures the central steering column pin: once loosened, the steering wheel can be removed after disconnecting its connectors. You can now access the instrument cluster; loosen two screws hidden by caps at the bottom of the cluster and two Allen screws at the top. Once all bolts are removed, you can extract the cluster and disconnect it.
