In order to remove the instrument panel of the Alfa Romeo 147 you have to turn the steering wheel to the left in order to remove the bolts that secure the central airbag. The bolts are located at the rear of the steering wheel and once removed, the airbag can be removed by unhooking its connector. When the airbag has been removed, it will be necessary to loosen the nut that fixes the central pin of the steering wheel: once loosened, the steering wheel can be removed after having disconnected the connectors. Now it will be possible to access the instrument panel; it will be necessary to loosen two screws hidden by the caps in the lower part of the panel and two Allen screws in the upper part. When all the bolts have been removed, the switchgear can be pulled out and disconnected.
