To replace the clutch on an Alfa Romeo 166, lift the car with a jack so that the front left wheel can be removed from its housing. Then, disconnect the inner cover of the corresponding wheel arch to access the gearbox: this can be removed by unscrewing the bolts that secure it to the side of the engine, followed by disconnecting the relevant connectors and sensors. Once the gearbox is removed, you will have access to the clutch, which can then be removed and replaced with a new one.
