Removing Tuning Chip Additional Control Unit

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004

Open the hood. First, detach the 4 covers on the plastic partition. Next, unscrew the 4 screws to lift the partition. You need to remove the oil dipstick before you can detach the cover by pulling it upward. Locate the additional control unit and free it from its seat, disconnect the connector from the unit, free the electrical cables, and disconnect the original connector. At this point, the additional control unit will be disconnected. Then, reposition the engine cover by reattaching the dedicated screws.
