Installation of iPod Accessory Kit and Disassembly of Car Radio

Using the appropriate tools that fit into the slots above and below the car radio to release the retaining springs, pull out the complete console and remove the necessary electrical connectors to install the kit. Attach the ground cable with an eyelet to the radio mounting screw. Prepare the two cables included in the iPod kit and insert them into the original connectors, while the other end goes into the kit's control unit. The control unit must be connected in series to the power cable at the audio aux input. Program the kit box according to the instructions included with the kit and secure it inside the dashboard under the passenger side plastic cover. The second box with connectors should be mounted in an accessible location under the dashboard with the provided screws. Reassemble the cover, passing the cables through the radio tunnel. Reinstall the radio by reversing the previous steps.
