How to Remove the Front Bumper of an Audi A1

To remove the front bumper on an Audi A1, start by lifting the vehicle to access the underside of the bumper. Remove the screws and clips located under the bumper that secure it to the underbody protection. Next, turn the wheels to one side and unscrew the screws inside the wheel arch that connect the bumper to the side trims; repeat the same operation on the other side. After freeing the sides, open the bonnet and remove the fixing screws located along the upper edge of the bumper, near the headlights and the front cross member. Once all screws are removed, grasp the bumper by the sides and gently pull it outwards to disengage it from the side guides. During extraction, disconnect the electrical connectors for the fog lights, parking sensors, or any daytime running lights. After disconnecting all the wiring, you can completely remove the bumper.
